A Hot Wheels Porsche that originally cost $30 now carries a guide value of around $575. That is the story of the 2020 Red Line Club RWB Porsche 930, but it is only one chapter in this widebody Porsche's Hot Wheels history.
From the original matte-black Silhouettes release to the purple Team Transport and the spectacular teal RLC edition, the RWB Porsche 930 has built an impressive following. With a Spectraflame orange RLC release coming for 2026, there is another reason to revisit the cars that started the excitement.
Prices below are in US dollars. Guide values were checked on September 30, 2026, and refer to packaged examples or complete packaged sets. Original retail prices exclude tax and shipping and could vary by retailer.
2019 Silhouettes: Where the Story Began
The RWB Porsche 930 made its Hot Wheels debut in the 2019 Car Culture Silhouettes series. Designed by Jun Imai, the casting captured the aggressive stance associated with Akira Nakai's RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF creations: wide fenders, a low body, and an enormous rear wing.
Matte-black paint and gold RAUH-Welt graphics gave this first release a distinctive look. It was a regular premium release, yet its value has grown far beyond its original shelf price.
- Original retail: Approximately $5.49
- Current guide value: $94
That puts it at more than 17 times its original retail price. View the 2019 Silhouettes RWB Porsche 930 and its price history.
2020 Team Transport: The Purple Porsche and Aero Lift
The next chapter brought purple paint, gold details, and a matching Aero Lift transporter. Released in the 2020 Team Transport lineup as number 17, this pairing offered collectors a complete RWB display in one package.
- Original retail: Approximately $12.99 for the set
- Current guide value: $112 for the complete packaged set
The value here covers both the Porsche and its transporter together. Explore the RWB Porsche 930 and Aero Lift price history.
2020 Red Line Club: The $30 Release Now Valued at $575
The 2020 Red Line Club edition introduced a separate, more elaborate RWB casting with opening doors and an opening rear engine cover. Spectraflame black paint, gold wheels, and an acrylic display case elevated the presentation, while an included Akira Nakai figurine connected the model to the man behind RWB.
Production was limited to 12,000 individually numbered examples.
- Original retail: $30
- Current guide value: $575
At more than 19 times retail, it is the most valuable of the releases covered here. The complete presentation, including the figurine and display packaging, matters when comparing examples. See the 2020 RLC RWB Porsche 930 and follow its value history.
2025 Silhouettes: A White RWB with a Story in the Numbers
The premium casting returned to Silhouettes in 2025, wearing white paint and distinctive 1048 Style graphics. It brought a fresh look to the familiar widebody shape and gave collectors another opportunity to find an RWB in a retail premium series.
- Mattel retail price: $6.50
- Current guide value: $32
Its price history shows why one value alone never tells the whole story. Monthly figures went from $36 in January 2025 to $18 that July, before recovering to around $32 by September 2026.

2025 Red Line Club: The Teal Porsche That Sold Out in 11 Minutes
The RLC casting returned on September 2, 2025, in Spectraflame teal with metallic gold graphics. Opening doors, an opening rear engine lid, Real Riders wheels, and an acrylic display case made it another striking version of the Porsche.
- Original retail: $38
- Current guide value: $135
According to Orange Track Diecast's launch report, the teal RWB sold out on the US Mattel Creations website in just 11 minutes. Its current guide value is more than three and a half times retail.

Coming Next: The 2026 Spectraflame Orange RLC Porsche
The upcoming 2026 Red Line Club RWB Porsche 930 in Spectraflame orange adds another bold color to the lineup. On a body with these oversized fenders and that towering rear wing, orange should make a dramatic impression.
After the teal release's 11-minute sellout, I am expecting another fast sellout when the orange version launches. For collectors hoping to add it at retail, this is a release worth being ready for when the sale opens.
The orange release's resale value is currently pending. Follow its HW Price Guide listing as release details and market data become available.
