Which 2025 Hot Wheels Mainlines are collectors still hunting for the most?
Instead of looking at price, we checked the cars appearing on the most collector want lists on HW Price Guide.
The results include some of the biggest names from the 2025 lineup, including Porsche, Ferrari, Formula One, Transformers and one truck that managed to beat all of them.
Here are the five most wanted 2025 Hot Wheels Mainlines on HW Price Guide.

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS takes the number five spot.
Released as part of the 2025 Then and Now series, this bright pink Porsche quickly became a popular addition to the Mainline lineup.
Porsche remains one of the most popular automotive brands among Hot Wheels collectors, and the 911 GT3 RS combines an instantly recognizable casting with a color that is difficult to miss on the pegs.
Plenty of collectors already have one, but enough are still searching for it to put the GT3 RS among the five most wanted Mainlines of the year.

Coming in at number four is Optimus Prime.
This was easily one of the most unusual Hot Wheels Mainline releases of 2025.
The new casting brought together Hot Wheels and Transformers, giving collectors a die-cast version of one of the most recognizable characters in the Transformers franchise.
That crossover appeal helped make Optimus Prime popular with both traditional Hot Wheels collectors and Transformers fans.
It also means there are still a lot of collectors trying to add one to their collection.

At number three is the Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula One car.
Formula One became a major part of the Hot Wheels lineup in 2025, and the Oracle Red Bull Racing release quickly became one of the most sought-after Mainlines.
The car debuted as a new casting and gave Formula One fans the chance to add a recognizable modern race car to their Hot Wheels collection without moving into a premium series.
Its popularity was enough to put it ahead of Optimus Prime and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
But two cars were wanted even more.

The Ferrari F40 Competizione takes the number two position.
Ferrari's return to Hot Wheels was one of the biggest stories for collectors in 2025, and the F40 Competizione became one of the standout releases from that return.
The new casting arrived in classic Ferrari red and brought one of the manufacturer's most recognizable performance cars back into the Hot Wheels Mainline lineup.
Considering the excitement surrounding Ferrari's return, it would have been easy to assume the F40 Competizione would take the number one position.
But one 2025 Mainline is currently sitting on even more collector want lists.

The most wanted 2025 Hot Wheels Mainline on HW Price Guide is the '83 Chevy Silverado.
Released in light blue as part of the HW Hot Trucks series, the Silverado managed to beat the Ferrari F40 Competizione, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Optimus Prime and Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Classic trucks have developed a strong following among Hot Wheels collectors, and the '83 Chevy Silverado continues to be one of the more popular truck castings.
Based on HW Price Guide want-list data, more collectors are currently looking to add this Silverado to their collection than any other regular 2025 Mainline.
One of the interesting things about this list is how varied the Top 5 is.
There is a Porsche sports car, a Transformers character, a Formula One racer, a Ferrari and a classic Chevrolet pickup.
It shows just how many different types of Hot Wheels releases collectors were chasing during 2025.

bro, I really need to find the Chevy Silverado, Ferrari F40 Competizione, and Optimus Prime. I just started collecting two years ago, so I feel like I'm kind of behind
I am lucky to have all of them and live in New Zealand.
5 great examples why this hobby is easy to get into and hard to keep up with sometimes. I do have all of these. But they were really hard to find. Great post! Love these news letters
