Hot Wheels is bringing the heat with the 2027 B Case! We're still three months away from 2027, but both the A and B cases are already here. With returning favorites, sharp recolors, and some seriously good-looking cars, this case has plenty going straight onto my wishlist.
I'm Paul, creator of HW Price Guide, and these are my five favorite picks from the B Case. This is a ranking of the cars I want for my own collection, based on their looks and how much I like the castings.
5. '99 Honda Civic Type R (EK9)
Five model years after the famous 2022 “Golden Nugget” Super Treasure Hunt, the '99 Honda Civic Type R (EK9) is back in mainlines. That release made a huge impression on collectors, and this casting still gets my attention whenever a new version appears.
The dark red finish on this 2027 release gives it a great look. It's an easy choice for my wishlist and a welcome return to the mainline lineup.

4. '69 Ford Mustang Boss 302
The Boss is back, and this is exactly the kind of old-school muscle I love seeing in mainlines. The cream color and livery work beautifully together, giving this release plenty of character.
It's a casting I've wanted to see return, and this version earns its place in my top five. If I spot one on the pegs, it's coming home with me.

3. Screamliner
The Screamliner releases have been hitting the mark for me lately, and this chrome version keeps that streak going. The long body and exaggerated styling give this casting a personality all its own.
I love seeing fantasy castings get finishes that suit their design, and this one does exactly that. It's bold, distinctive, and takes my number three spot.

2. '61 Impala
The '61 Impala is simply a great-looking car. This light green recolor catches my eye immediately, but the decals are what really make it pop.
The color and decoration give it so much style. It's the kind of release that reminds me how much a well-chosen recolor can add to a casting I already like.

1. BMW M4 GT3
The BMW M4 GT3 wins my number one spot. Yes, this casting is also getting the B Case Super Treasure Hunt treatment, but the regular mainline version looks amazing in its own right.
That blue finish looks fantastic on the M4 GT3, and the race-car styling makes it one of my favorite releases in the case. I'd be thrilled to find the regular version on the pegs, and it belongs at the very top of my wishlist.

My top three favorite are the 99 Honda Civic Type R, BMW M4 GT3, and the 61 Impala. The 61 Impala is my favorite out of this case! I am definitely going to be hunting for that BMW super cuz I love collecting BMWs lol. I think you've could of had added Cadillac CTS-V, BMW M3 GT2, VW Golf MK1 GTI, and the 87 Buick Regal GNX.
