Top 5 Picks From the 2027 Hot Wheels Mainline C Case

8 November, 2026

Five packaged 2027 Hot Wheels C Case picks: Twin Tags, DB5 Safari Edition, gold Shelby GT500, R34 Police and Quinjet

My number one pick from the 2027 Hot Wheels C Case belongs on a flight deck. Before we get there, I've got a gold Mustang, a police Skyline and an Aston Martin I'd be happy to find in its regular mainline version. Here are the five I'm hunting first, counting down from number five.

5. Twin Tags

I've liked Twin Tags from the start, and I'm glad Hot Wheels is giving us more colors. The C Case version pairs a black body with orange wheels and an orange base. Those colors make the low shape stand out, and this one goes straight on my wishlist.

4. Aston Martin DB5 Safari Edition

I'm an Aston Martin fan, and I'll take a classic DB5 with a row of roof lights any day. The green body, yellow stripes and number 60 give it the look of a vintage rally car. This casting also gets a Super Treasure Hunt in C Case, and I'm hunting the regular green mainline too. That's the version pictured here.

3. 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

A gold recolor on this casting? Say no more. The black hood detail and wheels work especially well against the gold, and the wide front end is what makes this Shelby for me. Now I'd love to see a black recolor so I can park the two side by side.

2. Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR34) Police

I don't collect a ton of JDM, but the police livery makes this R34 an easy pick. The white-and-black body and the little red lights in the grille give it a completely different look from the Skylines I usually see on the pegs. I'd grab this one as soon as I saw it.

1. Avengers Quinjet

My favorite pick belongs on a flight deck. The gray Avengers Quinjet makes its mainline debut in Screen Time, and the swept wings make it easy to spot in the blister. Anything sci-fi or fantasy gets my attention. Star Wars, Star Trek, Avengers? Sign me up. I love that I can hunt for something like this on the same pegs as a Shelby or a Skyline.
