First Look at the 2027 Hot Wheels Boulevard Releases

We just got our first look at the first Hot Wheels Boulevard releases for 2027, and this looks like a pretty strong way to kick off the new year.

The first assortment appears to continue the Boulevard numbering with cars 166 through 170, giving collectors a mix of American, European, and Japanese performance cars.

Here is a closer look at the first five 2027 Hot Wheels Boulevard releases.

#166 – 2013 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon

First up is the 2013 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon.

This release comes finished in a deep red with premium wheels and Real Riders tires. The CTS-V Wagon has always been a unique performance car, and it is especially nice to see Cadillac represented in the Boulevard lineup.

Premium Cadillac releases are not nearly as common as some other brands, which could make this one a sleeper favorite with collectors.

#167 – 2003 Ford Focus RS

Number 167 is the 2003 Ford Focus RS.

The Focus RS comes in a bright blue finish that fits the early-2000s European performance car perfectly.

Cars from this era are becoming increasingly nostalgic for collectors, and the first-generation Focus RS has developed a strong following of its own.

This may not be the first car everyone notices in the assortment, but I would not be surprised to see it become one of the harder releases to find.

#168 – Subaru Crosstrek

Number 168 is the Subaru Crosstrek, and it is definitely one of the more unusual Boulevard releases in this group.

Hot Wheels has given the Crosstrek a rugged off-road appearance with a roof rack, KC lights, aggressive tires, and additional off-road equipment.

It gives the assortment something very different from the traditional sports cars and race cars we usually see in Boulevard.

Subaru collectors and fans of adventure-style builds should have plenty to like here.

#169 – 2020 Honda S2000 20th Anniversary

Next is number 169, the 2020 Honda S2000 20th Anniversary.

This release features a bright yellow body with a contrasting black hood and premium Real Riders wheels.

The Honda S2000 has been a consistently popular Hot Wheels casting, especially among JDM collectors, so this one should immediately attract plenty of attention.

Between the yellow paint, clean styling, and popularity of the S2000, this looks like one of the safest bets to be heavily hunted when the assortment begins reaching stores.

#170 – Porsche 935

Rounding out the first group is number 170, the Porsche 935.

This may end up being the standout release of the entire assortment.

The Porsche gets a white, black, and orange racing-inspired livery along with the massive rear wing and wide-body design that make the 935 instantly recognizable.

Porsche has become one of the strongest brands in modern Hot Wheels collecting, particularly within premium lines.

Because of that, I would not be surprised if the Porsche 935 becomes the hardest car from this first 2027 Boulevard assortment to find on the pegs.

A Strong Start for 2027 Boulevard

Overall, this is a very balanced first assortment for the 2027 Hot Wheels Boulevard series.

Collectors are getting five very different vehicles:

  • 2013 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon – #166
  • 2003 Ford Focus RS – #167
  • Subaru Crosstrek – #168
  • 2020 Honda S2000 20th Anniversary – #169
  • Porsche 935 – #170

There really is something here for several different types of collectors, whether you are into JDM cars, European performance cars, American performance wagons, off-road builds, or Porsche race cars.

My early favorite is the Porsche 935, but the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is a very close second.

The biggest question will be which of these becomes the most difficult release to find once collectors start seeing them in stores.

that Porsche 935 is ok its like the 2025 one but they just change the wheels and put orange striping on it. but the rest of the castings are petty cool. i really like the Subaru Crosstrek and 2003 Ford Focus RS.
