Hot Wheels is turning up the color with the 2027 Neon Speeders lineup. Eight vehicles bring together American muscle, Japanese classics, a distinctive Porsche racer, and a Volkswagen pickup—all with the bold graphics that give this series its character.
Here is a first look at the eight-car Mix 1 lineup, shown in the numbered order on the packaging. You can explore the complete 2027 Neon Speeders group on HW Price Guide and start building your wishlist.
The Volkswagen T2 Pickup opens the set with a support-vehicle theme. Its black body carries orange HW Racing Support lettering and checkerboard graphics, giving this little pickup a role of its own alongside the racers. It is a fun starting point for collectors who like their lineups to include something beyond sports cars.

The Honda S800 Racing pairs a black body with pink graphics, lime accents, and race number 80. The bright detailing stands out against the dark paint, while its compact shape gives the set a very different silhouette from the larger American cars.

The ’71 Dodge Charger brings orange paint, black stripes, and a green number 71 to the mix. It is a bold combination that suits the Neon Speeders theme, with the long muscle-car body giving the graphics plenty of room to stand out.

The ’69 Corvette Racer turns up the brightness with a green body, black and pink graphics, and number 69. Its low shape and open cockpit make it easy to pick out in the lineup. For a display built around vivid colors, this is an obvious car to put near the front.

The Nissan Skyline HT 2000GT-X combines a purple body with pink and green stripes and number 27. The classic Skyline shape brings a different kind of presence to the set, and the contrasting colors make this version worth a closer look for anyone building a Skyline collection.

The ’91 Mazda MX-5 Miata takes a different approach with a white body, pink Mazda graphics, black stripes, and number 91. The lighter base color gives the lettering a clean backdrop. It adds another small Japanese sports car to the lineup without repeating the Honda’s darker look.

The Porsche 917LH brings a long, low racing silhouette with black paint, blue and green graphics, and number 7. Its sweeping bodywork sets it apart from the road-car shapes around it, making it a natural focal point for collectors drawn to racing designs.

The ’71 AMC Javelin closes out the numbered set in pink with black and blue stripes and number 88. It gives the American muscle selection another strong color, and makes a striking companion to the orange Charger and green Corvette Racer.

The appeal here is the variety: three American performance classics, three Japanese cars, a Porsche race car, and a Volkswagen support pickup. Shared packaging and bright contrasting graphics tie them together, while the different shapes give each release its own identity.
If you could only choose one, which would you take home? Let us know in the comments, then visit the 2027 Neon Speeders group to build your wishlist.
