Amazon Exclusive Hot Wheels Black Boxes Are Now Available

Hot Wheels has partnered with Amazon to release an exclusive black box of 2023 Hot Wheels cars. The first 4 of these boxes have now become available for presale on Amazon.com. Each box contains 16 'first-appearance' 2023 mainline vehicles and includes the chance of getting Treasure Hunts or Super Treasure Hunts.

The first appearance means these are the first time these cars have appeared. Either first castings for a car or new colors or decor for a car.

The boxes are titled Box A, Box B, Box C, and Box D to align with the factory cases that come out. The boxes are priced at $24.99 each which is a fair price in my opinion for only getting first-appearance cars. You can pre-pre-order these boxes now with the following delivery dates.

These are expected to continue to roll out throughout the year along with the regular case releases so we should see 15 boxes for 2023. These are a great way to collect the new mainline cars without having to hunt around at stores or buy full cases that result in a lot of duplicate cars.

This should make it easier for Hot Wheels mainline car collectors to get the cars they want for their collection without the frustration of looking in stores and only finding fantasy castings. No more disappointing hunts for that JDM you have been after. It should also help out those that want to keep store hunting by reducing the competition in stores for popular castings. Hopefully with will be a win-win for collectors and Mattel.
