An orange RWB Porsche. A Ferrari 312 P. And a Datsun 240Z with a chrome chase. 2026 has already been an amazing year for the Hot Wheels Red Line Club, and the remaining lineup gives collectors plenty more to get excited about. For me, it feels like Hot Wheels saved some of the best for last.
These six releases bring together European icons, Japanese favorites, modern American muscle, and one seriously wild Volkswagen. The RWB Porsche, Ferrari, and Datsun lead my personal wishlist, but there is something here for several different collecting tastes.
This preview covers the six upcoming 2026 RLC releases discussed here, rather than a dated sales calendar. Check Mattel Creations for final sale dates, prices, and purchase terms as each release approaches. Preview designs may differ from final production models.
The RWB Porsche 930 in Spectraflame orange is one of my biggest standouts. The wide fenders, low stance, oversized rear wing, and RAUH-Welt windshield banner give it an unmistakable presence. The orange finish, white stripe, and black wheels make a strong combination.
This is the sort of release that gets my attention immediately. If your collection leans toward Porsches or modified European cars, it deserves a place on your radar. It is an exciting way to help close out an already memorable RLC year.
The 1993 Mazda RX-7 R1 brings a cleaner, smoother look to the lineup. Its Spectraflame pink finish makes the curves stand out, while the bright wheels and white front lip provide contrast.
Alongside the Porsche, the Mazda gives collectors another eye-catching sports car to consider. It is a different personality from the RWB, and that variety is part of what makes this remaining lineup so appealing.
For modern muscle car collectors, the '23 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 brings an aggressive counterpoint to the European and Japanese sports cars. The pink finish makes a bold statement, and the opening hood reveals the engine bay.
The photo above is a prototype preview credited to Mattel in MoparInsiders' coverage. This is one to watch if you like your RLC cars with a drag-strip attitude.
The Ferrari 312 P is another major highlight for me. The red body, gold wheels, and number-one racing graphics create a classic race-car look. The opening rear body section adds another reason to display it loose and appreciate the details.
Ferrari's return to Hot Wheels has already added excitement to the year. Seeing this car in the remaining RLC lineup makes the finish to 2026 even more interesting. Of these six releases, this is easily among the ones I am most excited about.
The blue Datsun 240Z would be exciting on its own: a black hood, gold wheels, white tire lettering, and number 24 on the doors give it a strong racing look.
Then there is the chrome chase version. The reflective finish and contrasting interior create a very different appearance while retaining the same racing theme. I would love to have this pair together.
The chase adds another layer of interest to a release that already stands out. No chase odds or production quantities are being assumed here; the appeal for me is the car and the two distinct finishes.
The Volkswagen T1 Rockster brings the most playful look of the group. Massive off-road tires, lifted suspension, a pink and blue body, and equipment in the bed make it a model with plenty to inspect.
And yes, the angled object in the back is a black spare tire with a shiny wheel center. The Rockster offers a completely different display piece alongside the sports and muscle cars.
The Ferrari, Datsun, and Volkswagen slide images are enhanced versions of the preview photos shared with HW Price Guide. Use them as visual previews; final product details should be checked against Mattel's release information.
For me, the RWB Porsche, Ferrari 312 P, and Datsun 240Z are the headliners. Add the RX-7, Demon 170, and T1 Rockster, and there is plenty left to look forward to. This year has been crazy, and the remaining lineup could give it a fantastic finish.
Which one is your must-have? Are you hoping to add both Datsuns, or is the Porsche or Ferrari at the top of your list?
